April 28, 2008: Falling into the category of just plain “strange”, Mario Juarez shows his true colors by purchasing a domain name under cplazola (an affront to De La Fuente’s former aide) and linking it first to his council website, then to a porn site. Retaliation? Is this becoming of a future council member? The strangest thing: He bought the domain site in 2005, and sat on it until he linked it to his own website in March 2008, and then recently to a porn site. Just plain weird. But those of us who know Mario, know that vindictiveness and acts like this are everyday parts of his repertoire.

April 30, 2008: Anonymous poster sent this to our comment section:
“Docket number 339247 was filed in November 1999 as a charge of resisting or obstructing police. Mario Juarez was ultimately found guilty of an infraction of disturbing the peace in November 2000.”
May 10, 2008: From a neighborhood list-serve, we find the posting by someone named Ellen that states that Mario has even been lying about his business. In representing himself as the owner and broker of Fireside Realty, it turns out he is not. What are the violations associated with mis-representing yourself to clients in this way? Here is a portion of the post:
From Ellen: “My response is this: I don’t know about this web site or about some of the stuff out there, however I do know that Mario Juarez is not the owner of Fireside Realty or the current Real estate Company that advertises as “The Mario Juarez Selling Team”. Realty First Real Estate and Mortgage is the brokerage that Mario works for. Fireside was short-lived. Mario is a salesperson there (this is all public record), and the company is not locally-owned, by him or by anyone. It is based in Roseville. It may well be they have an agreement to have Mario be the face of the company, I don’t know. I am a bit disturbed that he repeatedly represents himself as the owner of this company.”
